Believing.
This is one thing that I have been doing and will never get tired of doing for as long as I live. I may not be "that" religious but I have faith, I believe that everything is dependent on the Almighty Allah's mercy.
This blog is, of course, the electronic public diary of Khal as she talks about anything under the sun (and even over the rainbow). Her life, travels and thoughts are as colorful as a kaleidoscope.
:-)
There is nothing more beautiful than being able to see the beauty of everything beyond light and shades!

Day 22 - A letter to someone who has hurt you recently
Dearest Ignorance,
You may not be one of the seven deadly sins nor a major major sin in the world's three biggest religions but I am sure you have caused more doom than any other sins because you are their common element. You play safe and act cool as if you are harmless. You are nothing but a double-sided disease trying hard to know but doesn't want to learn and understand -- at all. Your influence is becoming popular nowadays. But I am happy to inform you that we, the lovers of wisdom and critical thinking, will beat you at your weakest point. So enjoy your last few moments here on earth.
Leave, ignorance. You are not wanted here or anywhere else in the world. You haven't had a point, ever since. So zip it up. Got it? Disappear forever!
Your worst nightmare,
Khal

7.) Lots of hugs (and kisses too!)
8.) Ice cream!

Day 20 – The meaning behind your blog name
MY KHALEIDOSCOPE WORLD -- I have been digging the word kaleidoscope since third year high school; had it not been for Daniel Steel's super-drama Kaleidoscope novel, I would not have a novel analysis. I just love the idea of a thing where all colors can be seen depending on the angle, where different colors meet at a certain point and create a beautiful mosaic of everything about reality. Perhaps a kaleidoscope reflects who I am, perhaps not. I would like to believe that I am eclectic, especially my ethical principles, and I see truth as something relative. Everything is a matter of perspective -- how one sees one is relative. And because my nickname is Khal, viola! I decided to coin the two words: Khal + kaleidoscope = Khaleidoscope. To make it more personalized, I added "[M]y" at the beginning and ended it with "[W]orld."

Day 16 – Your celebrity crush
Gerard Butler |
Ever since Phantom of the Opera, I have been laying my eyes on this Hollywood ultimate hunk, Gerard Butler. He mesmerized me in 300 and stole my heart in P.S. I love You. Perhaps it was his character roles that added cherries on top, or maybe it was his great acting.
P.S. He may have mesmerized and stole my heart, but only on the superficial level. *winks*
